Sachin Tendulkar’s Journey..A big Salaam to The Legend on this Republic Day

Time Magazine’s quote on Sachin:
“When Sachin Tendulkar travelled to Pakistann  to facee one of the finest bowling attacks ever assembled in cricket, Michael Schumacher was yet to race a F1 car,

Lance Armstrong had never been to the Tour de France, Diego Maradona was still the captain of a world champion Argentina team, Pete Sampras had never won a Grand Slam. When Tendulkar embarked on a glorious career taming Imran and company, Roger Federer was a name unheard of; Lionel Messi was in his nappies, Usain Bolt was an unknown kid in the Jamaican backwaters. The Berlin Wall was still intact, USSR was one big, big country, Dr Manmohan Singh was yet to “open” the Nehruvian economy. It seems while Time was having his toll on every individual on the face of this planet, he excused one man. Time stands frozen in front of Sachin Tendulkar. We have had champions, we have had legends, but we have never had another Sachin Tendulkar and we never will.”

I am Proud to be an Indian

Historians, writers, politicians and other eminent personalities across the Globe have greatly appreciated India and its contribution to rest of the world. Though these remarks are only a partial reflection of the greatness of India, they certainly make us feel proud of our motherland.
"We owe a lot to the Indians, who taught us how to count, without which no worthwhile scientific discovery could have been made!"

Diversity

You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, the Swiss hold the America's Cup, France is accusing the U.S. of arrogance, Germany doesn't want to go to war, and the three most powerful men in America are named 'Bush', 'Dick', and 'Colon'. Need I say more?

A Mother Downstairs

There she was! It's been quiet a long time since I saw her, looking starved but yet full of affection.
I gave her a name Lucky. She used to hover over me, Love was in her eyes.
She gave birth to new lives who were taken care by a family living Downstairs and apparently it became Lucky's home for a couple of month. But that was October it is January now her young ones are big enough to follow her even at nights, and have started wandering around the society.
This morning while returning from office I saw Bojo ( a pup of Lucky, lying flat on the road, blood streaming from his body, no signs of life) and very next to her was her adorable Ma' crying might be, Who Knows How they feel the loss of a loved one!
She came to me as if asking, "Do you know, who did this to my son?" and in my mind I was speechless whether what to say? how to console her?
Lucky

Bojo with a friend
Here I have a pic of them, I am sharing it with you, and if anyone has a answer to her question please feel free to say it. I am desperately waiting...

Lucky & Cherry
Got the smile back on her face...'Cherry' is back with her and seem to stand with her till the end.
